PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS, ACCREDITATIONS and DESIGNATIONS

Accredited Management Organization (AMO)

Turner Property Services Group, Inc. has earned the Accredited Management Organization (AMO) accreditation for our Financial Integrity and Stability, Insurance Coverage Standards protecting Clients, Education, Training and Certification of Key Managers, Management Expertise and Ethical Standards. AMO firms manage over 470 million square feet of commercial space with a combined value of over $123 billion. Turner Property Services Group is one of about 530 Property Management firms across the country to achieve this accreditation. Accreditation is through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).

Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM)

The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) has been the source for education, resources, information, and membership for real estate management professionals for more than 75 years. An affiliate of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, IREM is the only professional real estate management association serving both the multi-family and commercial real estate sectors. With 80 U.S. chapters, 12 international chapters, several other partnerships around the globe and18,000 individual members, IREM is an international organization that also serves as an advocate on issues affecting the real estate management industry.

IREM promotes ethical real estate management practices through its credentialed membership programs, including the CERTIFIED PROPERTY MANAGER (CPM) designation and the ACCREDITED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION (AMO) accreditation. These esteemed credentials certify competence and professionalism for those engaged in real estate management.

Certified Property Manager (CPM)

Recognized industry-wide as the mark of distinction, the CERTIFIED PROPERTY MANAGER (CPM) designation symbolizes unparalleled commitment to professional education, ethics, and integrity. Only individuals who complete extensive course study, have met experience requirements in both fiscal and operations management, and adhere to a professional code of ethics can achieve the CPM designation. Certification is through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).

Building Owners and Managers Association

The mission of BOMA is to enhance the human, intellectual and physical assets of the commercial real estate industry through advocacy, education, research, standards and information. BOMA represents 92 U.S. and 12 international associations. The U.S. associations, with a membership of more than 16,500, represents a total of over 9 billion square feet of office space. BOMA is known for its development of the Standard Method of Measuring Floor Area in Office Buildings.

Real Property Administrator (RPA)

The Real Property Administrator (RPA®) designation act as letters of credibility in the industry, ensuring that Property Managers are properly trained and have the experience to perform their jobs at the highest level. More than 20,000 building professionals hold one or more BOMI International designations, and over 80,000 students have turned to BOMI International for premier education and training.

Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM)

For 40 years, the CCIM Institute has been the leading authority for commercial real estate, offering its more than 15,000 members an exceptional education curriculum, including market-driven, relevant and forward-thinking courses for commercial investment real estate. The CCIM Institute confers the CCIM designation, the hallmark of competency, and is an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

NAR’s Green REsource Council  

Established by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Association of REALTORS®, the Green REsource Council was founded to make the knowledge of green real estate practices available to everyone. They accomplish this by focusing our attention on real estate agents and property managers; the link to millions of consumers, tenants, developers, and building owners. In addition, they award students who successfully complete the program requirements with NAR’s Green Designation and membership to their council.

Ohio Real Estate License

Under Ohio Law a “real estate transaction” occurs when a Real Estate Broker operates, manages or rents any property/building for a fee. Such real estate transactions in the State of Ohio require a real estate license. Turner Property Services Group is licensed as well as our designated Broker and our Property Managers.

National Association of Realtors (NAR)

Early in its history, the Association recognized the need for specialization in the real estate industry, and created seven specialty divisions by 1923. Over the years, many of these divisions evolved into different institutes, societies and councils. The Institute of Real Estate Management, an area of specialization for real estate management, was founded in 1933.

Real estate professionals who are members of the National Association subscribe to its strict Code of Ethics. The National Association of REALTORS® has over 1.2 million members, 54 State Associations and more than 1,400 local Associations.

Ohio Association of Realtors (OAR)

OAR is the major champion of private property rights in Ohio. OAR is the state’s largest professional trade association. Composed of real estate professionals (REALTORS), who’ve joined the local, state and national associations of REALTORS, OAR’s members have agreed to abide by the National Association of REALTORS’ stringent Code of Ethics.

Dayton Area Board of Realtors (DABR)

The Dayton Area Board of REALTORS® is a trade association representing nearly 3,000 REALTOR® and affiliate members in Montgomery, Greene, and Preble Counties in Ohio. As members of organized real estate, REALTORS® subscribe to a strict code of ethics and have access to numerous services and programs to enhance their professionalism. Educational programs and seminars help members gain new skills and professional designations.

Commercial/ Industrial Committee membership, representing Dayton Area Board of Realtors who are commercial real estate practitioners in the Montgomery, Greene and Preble Counties of Ohio.

National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP)

NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, is the leading organization for developers, owners and related professionals in office, industrial and mixed-use real estate. NAIOP provides unparalleled industry networking and education, and advocates for effective legislation on behalf of its members. NAIOP advances responsible, sustainable development that creates jobs and benefits the communities in which its members work and live.

Downtown Dayton Partnership (DDP)

The DDP is a nonprofit organization funded primarily by a Special Improvement District. The Special Improvement District contracts with the DDP to provide a variety of services including business development, advocacy and marketing. The Partnership dedicated to making downtown Dayton a better place to live, work and visit. Working with downtown property owners, businesses and residents, we provide strategic planning, business development and marketing services to grow and strengthen our downtown.

Better Business Bureau (BBB)

The BBB issues reliability reports on businesses and ensures that high standards for trust are maintained. They are utilized by consumers and businesses seeking an unbiased source to guide them on a business’s integrity and performance. The BBB accreditation is an honor and not every company is eligible. Turner Property Services Group has been a BBB accredited business since January 29, 2007. We adhere to the BBB Code of Business Practices that create and maintain trust in our business and have established and maintained a positive track record in the marketplace.
